Modernization of equipment of the municipal hospital in Berkovitsa.

The activity is therefore needed to increase the efficiency of health public institutions in Berkovitsa municipality to offer better quality of its services, integrating the human resources, intervention means and life rescue equipment – all of these being mandatory for protecting the environment and people’s lives.

The hospital has 60 beds in five wards to provide hospital care - Surgical, Internally, Obstetrics and Gynaecological. It serves more than 20 high mountain villages which has problems with traveling to the municipal center. That’s why this activity will help for finding of solution to these problem and will help the medical officers to get easily to them.

Through the supply of equipment will be ensured better and effective work of the Hospital and the high performance of its ability to as much as possible residents. This activity also will have a cross-border effect because medical specialists from Bailesti Municipality will visit Berkovitsa’s hospital to learn good practice from working with new equipment.
